Our trainings and expeditions to prepare you to climb Everest
You dream of climbing the roof of the world, but not by chance? Expeditions Unlimited guides you on your journey to Everest, whether you are a beginner or have already climbed Mont Blanc. We offer you all the key programs you need to build your progress and boost your confidence. Develop your mountaineering experience, climb progressively in altitude, develop your alpine technique, test your high-altitude mountaineering gear. You experience one or more longer expeditions, lasting several weeks with rotations between altitude camps. You will be able to detect the symptoms of potentially fatal AMS – Acute Mountain Sickness – on yourself, you will understand cold conditions and the risks of severe frostbite that can lead to amputation. Contrary to popular belief, the success rate for climbing Everest is well below 50%, particularly on the Nepalese side.
You will need at least two to three years of intense preparation to attempt your Everest climb. Only then, will you arrive at Everest base camp more confident in your ability to seize the best opportunities on the mountain. Mountaineering courses, climbs of Mont Blanc, climbs of 6000, 7000 or even 8000... Not only will you make progress, but you will also have a lot of fun. Here is our selection of climbs. And take advantage of the time in between to climb, here in the Alps, whenever you can. We coach you to improve your fitness and stamina.
