Polar expeditions
Brecht is a French-speaking, Dutch-speaking and Russian-speaking Belgian. He supervises our polar ski-pulka expeditions in all the polar regions.
Brecht has guided our groups on the frozen Lake Baikal in Siberia, on the Arctic Circle Trail and on the West-to-East crossing of Greenland.
Trained as a guide in Iceland, Brecht has a passion for nature and has developed a knowledge of biodiversity that he is happy to share, particularly in ornithology.
Brecht is a member of the Polar Experience team, founded by Dixie Dansercoer and now managed by Julie Brown.
