Expeditions Unlimited guides you on the climb of peaks over 7000 meters, as a logical progression towards an 8000-meter summit, or as a goal in itself. We offer expeditions in Nepal, in particular to Himlung Himal (7126 m) and Baruntse (7129 m), as well as Makalu II (7678 m). In Ladakh, India, we set off for Kun (7077 m). Finally, in Central Asia, we climb Peak Lenin (7134 m) in Kyrgyzstan, as well as all four other peaks in the Snow Leopard Challenge, in particular Khan Tengri (7010 m), Pobeda (7439 m), Peak Korjenevskaya (7105 m) and Peak Communism (7495 m) in Tajikistan. We climb Mustagh Ata (7546 m) with touring-skis, a peak located in China.

All these expeditions to 7000 meters require a high level of physical engagement and mountaineering experience, and more often than not, a good expertise in rock, glacier and mixed mountaineering techniques. These expeditions provide an opportunity to experience your first high-altitude long expeditions, with several acclimatization rotations between altitude camps, and the discovery of high-altitude hypoxia. The strategy of acclimatization to the hypoxia of high-altitude becomes one of the keys to success. These expeditions are supervised by recognized and experienced French and local expedition leaders. On each of these expeditions, we offer personalized weather forecast services and a H24 medical hotline. Together, we build your route to your first 7000. We offer refresher and advanced mountaineering courses in our Adventure School, as well as an unrivalled range of expeditions to 5000, 6000 and 8000-meter peaks, enabling you to progress serenely towards the expedition of a lifetime.

Himlung Himal is a 7000 meter peak in Nepal that is technically accessible with a good acclimatization trek. Snowfall can make the climb particularly physical. We use the French Base Camp.
